July 21st Unity Ride with Richmond Ceasefire

July 21st Unity Ride with Richmond Ceasefire

This Friday, July 21, Rich City Rides will unite with Richmond Ceasefire for their annual citywide walk for reclaiming neighborhoods from violent crime. We’ll meet at the bike shop and roll out at 4:45 sharp, meeting the walkers at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in North Richmond. We’ll ride alongside the walkers and end at Miracle Temple, 2425 Cutting Blvd. We then ride back to the shop. The total ride, including starting and ending at the bike shop, is 6.1 miles. The Ceasefire walk itself, from New Hope Church to Miracle Temple, is 3.1 miles. We will stop along the way to remember the loss of loved ones and the impact of violent crime in our neighborhoods. This walk usually draws hundreds of people, and will be accompanied by the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts Band.
